For sale is a plate of magnetite crystals with calcite and quartz, from Qld. These plates used to be seen regularly at gem shows, but this is the first I have seen in probably 15 years. The plate consists of multiple complex magnetite crystals hosting a scattering of clear quartz crystals and some snow white calcite. The calcite has been dissolved away to display the jet black magnetite crystals which were underneath. Collected by and from the collection of Norman and Jocine Robertson.
