Delivery

This web site is updated on a regular basis and any items on display should be available and will be shipped within 2 days of receiving your payment. As nearly all pieces are unique and for some reason an item is not available, you will be notified by e-mail immediately and refunded any money paid already in full. We take the greatest care in packing our minerals and jewellery for transport. If you have any special instructions regarding shipping, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Australian Orders

We ship via Australia Post using registered mail to most parts in Australia.  If you would prefer to use your own chosen service, please add notes in the space provided at checkout or contact us via email with your preferred method and your Order ID number.  You will find your Order number in the Purchase Order or Invoice you received by email. Alternatevly, if you have created an account with us, you can view your Orders and their Status by logging in from the top right menu bar.  All shipping charges will be added to your order at cost.

POST AND PACKAGING COSTS ARE: $15.00 Australia wide.
Postage includes signature on delivery, to ensure your parcel is correctly delivered.  Extra cover can be provided, but it must be requested and paid for by the buyer, at $1.50 per $100.00.

International Orders

We deliver to all countries by registered mail and insurance can be arranged if required. You can chose to have your parcel delivered by regular airmail or surface mail (if available) or you can request any other preferred shipping method.  Add your special instructions at checkout to specify your preferred delivery method or contact us. All shipping charges will be added to your order at cost.

INTERNATIONAL POST AND PACKAGING COSTS ARE: $ 36.00 per item.
Please contact us for international Shipping rates and Insurance (where available) for heavier items.

How Do I Pay By Direct Debit

Direct Debt payments are only available for purchases within Australia. For International orders, please use the Paypal option.

Please use your Order ID as reference number on your payment slip. Information about your order number and our bank details are displayed in the order details you would have received by email, alternatively if you have created an online account, log in to view your order and it’s status.

When your deposit has been received, we will send you the final invoice/payment advice to let you know your order has been paid for and shipped.

We have not had a single customer return a mineral or gemstone in over 5 years, but if you do need to return a item Blue Gems provides a 2 weeks Money Back Guarantee on all purchases.

Conditions

– all goods must be returned undamaged
– all goods must be returned within 14 days of date of purchase.
– goods must have attached proof of purchase from Blue Gems.

Faulty Goods

Blue Gems makes itself responsible for the quality of items sold, in case of damaged or faulty goods Blue Gems will assess and determine whether goods will be repaired or exchanged. Blue Gems is not responsible for damaged jewellery resulting from rough ware, knocks or general mistreatment.

What is an Account?

We allow our customers the option to create an account during the checkout process.  If you select the option to create an account, we keep your shipping address, billing address, email and phone number and a history of your purchases.  You simply log in to the MY ACCOUNT from the main menu, to view your purchase history, status of your purchase and to record/update your billing and shipping address.  We do not keep Credit Card details.  An account is entirely optional.

For return customers, this is a handy way to speed up the checkout process and also track purchases.

Many items are not displayed on our website, so if you have any special request or questions, please contact us and we will be happy to answer all enquries you may have.

How We Handle Your Information

All information, including your shipping address is solely used to handle your order and is not given to any third party. We do not collect any specific information about users or visitors without their permission and do not keep Credit Card information.

Payment Process

All credit card purchases are handled through Pay Pal.

The PayPal Shopping Cart makes use of cookies stored on your computer to ensure automatism, such as auto logon and prolonged memory of items in your shopping cart. However the users direct control is preserved, the user can renounce these functions if he does not wish to store persistent cookies on his PC by deleting internet cookies in his web browser.
All credit card payments are directly made through PayPal, there will be no Credit Card information stored on the Blue Gems website, or any office computer.
