For sale is one of my all time favorite hematite specimens, from the little known Francis Creek mine, N.T. The shimmering nature and the reddish bronze color, with strong silver undertones, are terrible hard to capture in pictures, I have to say this is way way better in person. The specimen features botryoidal form as well as small red/brown crystals. Words are hard to emphasis how nice these Frances Creek specimen are. Anybody that has seen one, knows how distinctive and nice these are. On a sadder note this mine has been one of the worst examples of “rehabilitation” bond inadequacy, seen in Australia, see link, https://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-05-09/pine-creek-mine-rehab-patently-inadequate-court-hears/7399334
