For sale is a molybdenite on quartz specimen from Wolfram Camp, Qld. There is no doubt that Australia has produced the worlds finest molybdenite specimen, from both Kingsgate, Deepwater and Wolfram Camp. This undamaged specimen has a group of molybdenite crystals sitting proud of the quartz matrix. The contrast in color between the silver grey molybdenite crystals and the white quartz is quite attractive and serves to highlight the molydbenite. A fine size piece, this came from a collection put together about 100 years ago, part of this collection was recently acquired by Phil Perkins, we obtained this gem from him. This is a very reasonable price for such a group of large molybdenite crystals on matrix!
