For sale is a nice matrix calcite from Renison Bell mine, Tas. The calcite crystals are individual and well displayed, add to that the clarity makes it a pretty unusual(actually almost unheard of today) calcite specimen from this local. Most crystal have a complex multi stepped surface, possible a result of in situ etching. Specimen from this famous mine (cant recommend to highly reading "The Rush That Never Ended) were never in plentiful supply and now that it has ceased operation, there wont be any more.
