CRINOIDE STEMS IN MARBLE/CALCITE
$44.00
For sale is a specimen of crinoide stems in calcite from Limestone Creek, NSW. This specimen comes from a very remote location, about 90km west of Kempsey. It came from my old neighbour, Mick Pugsley’s collection. It had sat in his shed from maybe 30 years of more, as a lump of rock. When I obtained it I loved the fine color contrast, but it badly needed a cut and polish to show its true beauty. This rugged and remote location I think has not been visited for more than half a century. This is a fine and attractive example of crinoid fossils from Australia
