For sale is a cuprian smithsonite from Broken Hill. A rare blue smithsonite from Broken Hill, featuring pristine botryoidal crystals covering the coronadite matrix. Ex Jim Sharpe collection, Jim acquired this piece from Chris Parkinson (Lane Cove Rock Shop) in 1992. (label included) The specimen was mine in 1950. Today these specimen are virtually unobtainable. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. I would be surprised if many people had this colored smithsonite from Broken Hill in there collection! In person the blue color is much more uniform thru out the specimen.
