The specimen consists of a dominant single crystal, with a grouping of around eight amethyst crystals around the base. It is rare to find the amethyst on calcite from Las Vigas. The amethyst exhibits extremely high luster and clarity, a few crystals are doubly-terminated. The aesthetics of the piece are out of this superb! Ex Trevor Warren collection.
