For sale is a tourmaline crystal from Vietnam. This crystal is most likely chrome vanadian uvite, or fluoro-uvite, thou it has not been tested, there is a remarkable with these exotic tourmalines from Mogok, Burma. The crystal is doubly terminated, with the distinct, large width to depth ratio. As you can see the top is solid green, this is translucent and gemmy for about 4 – 5mm, then it changes to a greenish yellow color, coming green again at the base. When viewed with lighting the color at the top is a very vivid green!

For sale is a tourmaline crystal from Vietnam. This crystal is most likely chrome vanadian uvite, or fluoro-uvite, thou it has not been tested, there is a remarkable with these exotic tourmalines from Mogok, Burma. The crystal is doubly terminated, with the distinct, large width to depth ratio. As you can see the top is solid green, this is translucent and gemmy for about 4 – 5mm, then it changes to a greenish yellow color, coming green again at the base. When viewed with lighting the color at the top is a very vivid green! (Not seen clearly in the pics, as there was no extra lighting used). Over the years I have seen a couple of these in the Vietnamese market, but this is the largest I have encountered. I obtained this stunner on my last visit to the mines of Vietnam, (April 2023). The lady I bought this from, was not going to budge on the price. After three days negotiating , I still ended up paying her original asking price.
