For sale is a smoky quartz from Torrington, NSW. This undamaged smoky quartz features a later overgrowth of quartz, that did not completely cover the old crystal, (see pics ) . The overgrowth quartz is fully transparent. The crystal is pristine, with good transparency and a fine phantom Excellent luster. At the base an area of the original crystal can be seen. Collected by and from the collection of Paul Hayes.
