For sale is a red spinel crystal from Vietnam. Featuring a razor sharp lustrous, translucent, sharp octahedral crystals of desirable red spinel. The crystal is compete, and a fine saturated red color, with no hint of brown color, often seen in these pieces from this classic location. The piece has high luster, these spinels are often called Ruby Spinel. We obtained this gem on our recent visit to the mines in Vietnam (April 2023)

For sale is a red spinel crystal from Vietnam. Featuring a razor sharp, lustrous, translucent, sharp octahedral crystals of desirable red spinel. The crystal is compete, and a fine saturated red color, with no hint of brown color, often seen in these pieces from this classic location. The piece has high luster, these spinels are often called Ruby Spinel. This crystal is partially gemmy and transmits light thru the majority of the specimen. We obtained this gem on our recent visit to the mines in Vietnam (April 2023). The Vietnamese spinel crystal are equal to anything found in the better know, and much more expensive Burmese fields.
