For sale is a raspberry garnet from Mexico. Vivid raspberry-red translucent garnet crystals, to 13 mm, are richly scattered on undulating quartz matrix on this excellent example from famous Sierra Las Cruces. Rare chromite can be seen as the black centers in some of the garnet crystals. There is also a pic of a yellowish versuvianite crystal.These famous red garnets have been collectors favourites since there discovery from the famous Mexican finds of the late 1990s and early 2000’s.
