also on the quartz. Kathida mine, Emmaville, NSW. This is an interesting and significant specimen. The size of the crystal is very large for the location, as is the size of the tourmaline
inclusions. The quartz crystal has good lustre, and an unusual, undulating face. The only single ding is the tip, top left. Other wise pristine front and rear. The crystal is more
gemmy than the pic indicate. The single cassiterite crystal at the base and the cassiterite group towards the top are fully terminated, pics dont show this well. Ex Clifford brothers collection, Emmaville.
