Please note this specimen is way way finer than the pics indicate, the color of the galena is a classic very bright silver! Sorry but not really conveyed in the pics. Splendent galena crystals, with some skeletal features. Aggregate of large flattened silver crystals exhibiting both hopper and skeletal growth. Abundant mm quartz crystals of two generations encrust the galena. Latter crystals are bright and lustrous.

Splendent galena crystals, with some skeletal features. Aggregate of large flattened silver crystals exhibiting both hopper and skeletal growth. Abundant mm quartz crystals of two generations encrust the galena. Latter crystals are bright and lustrous. We acquired this stunning piece, from Paul Melville collection, he acquired it from Alan Arnold in 2006. Alan obtained in on one of his many trips to the Russian mines. Way way nicer in person!!
