For sale is a very impressive red quartz with dolomite and pyrite, from China. A quartz group featuring hematite saturated red color, with sharp lusterous crystals. The color is nice and bright as the pics show.. The underlying quartz crystals are actually clear underneath, but there was enough hematite to give the vast majority of the crystals a fine red hue throughout. The piece is quite showy and has nice three dimensional form.

The color is nice and bright as the pics show.. The underlying quartz crystals are actually clear underneath, but there was enough hematite to give the vast majority of the crystals a fine red hue throughout. The piece is quite showy and has nice three dimensional form.. Associated cream colored rhombic dolomite, give a great accent to the specimen. This came from a small find approx 15 years ago, nothing like it has come out since then. We have been holding on to this gem as we know I will not be able to replace it.
