GARNET ON GALENA – BROKEN HILL

For sale is a garnet on galena specimen, from Australia. This is an interesting piece, first the garnet and the galena, were exposed in a vug , not contacted, the galena which sits among the garnet are crystals, very uncommon from Broken Hill! Now this all sits on largeish crystals of another mineral (which Im not really sure what it is, maybe bustamite, but Im not sure) these can be seen second pic right hand bottom side. I have also included a pic of the sawn base. Who ever prepared this piece, recognized it as something special, I agree!
