For sale is an uncommon New Zealand specimen, of garnet and actinolite from Franz Josef glacier. Featuring crudely formed garnets in an actinolite matrix. I would presume that as this is now a National Park, no mineral collecting is now permitted. Ex Sue Wearden collection. Sue acquired this old piece on one of her many mineral related trips to New Zealand.
