For sale is a fluorite on quartz from Sth Africa. Featuring vivid three dimensional two-sided combination specimen with sharp fluorite octahedron’s rising from a bed of quartz crystals. The fluorite’s are translucent to gemmy, with superb vivid blue fluorescent. This piece was originally purchased from Open Adit West. The specimen is in pristine condition, with some small crystalline quartz scattered about.

For sale is a fluorite on quartz from Sth Africa. Featuring vivid three dimensional two-sided combination specimen with sharp fluorite octahedron’s rising from a bed of quartz crystals. The fluorite’s are translucent to gemmy, with superb vivid blue fluorescent. This piece was originally purchased from Open Adit West. The specimen is in pristine condition, with some small crystalline quartz scattered about. I have read that the unique color of these fluorites, are caused by rare earth mineral inclusions.
