THUNDER EGG – INSOLVENT TRACK BRIAGALONG

$76.00

I have often wondered how this name originated, after some research, I have the answer. In the old days, miners returning after unsuccessful spending time in the Dargo gold field, would use this track,

to avoid having to pay there account at the Iguana Creek hotel, on the then main road. So over time the name Insolvent Creek evolved.

A fine large sized thunder egg, the specimens from this kind of remote location are unique in their style, recognisably instantly , with there bone/cream color and small quartz crystals scattered thru the perimeter. A great example of a rarely seen specimen from this unique Australian thunder egg locality
