Sparkly and gemmy, dark wine-red variscite crystals to 2mm, sitting proud and clear. Red variscite is very rare and comes from only one other location(Brazil) world wide. Good crystals on both sides of the specimen.

For sale is a small but very fine specimen of red variscite from Sth Aust. Its should be noted that variscite RARELY forms crystals! Sparkly and gemmy, dark wine-red variscite crystals to 2mm, sitting proud and clear. Red variscite is very rare and comes from only one other location(Brazil) world wide. Good crystals on both sides of the specimen. This piece is basically solid red variscite, with just the slighest sliver of matrix on one edge between the sides. This specimen is attached to a wooden post for display, I pretty sure this can be removed if the buyer desires.
