For sale is a supberb mimetite specimen from Mount Bonnie mine, N.T. Featuring supper rare transparent colorless mimetite crystals well distributed over a black goethite matrix. I can not emphasis too much how uncommon colorless transparent mimetite crystals are. This was dug by the late Norman Robinson, we obtained it from his personal collection. Thou it has never been analyses, Norman suggested that there is a possibility it is actually hedyphane.

Thou it has never been analyses, Norman suggested that there is a possibility it is actually hedyphane. Either way an outstanding Australian specimen. From this mine that has not produced specimens since the early 1980s. Please try and find another similar mimetite from Australia, or even a pic of one.
