Ocean Kyanite is a vibrant teal form of kyanite, the rarest member of that family, know for it’s distinctive saturated blue color. Please compare our prices to other material available. An interesting fact regards kyanite, is that is probably the only mineral that has two different hardness’s, seven hardness in the long direction and four hardness in the short (horizontal) direction.

I should note that these kyanite crystals fluoresce a fine deep red color under 365 wave length U.V light.
