For sale is a goethite (iron lace) from Kirkeeks Treasure mine, Sth Aust. We obtained this specimen at the recent Glen Innes Minerama, from an old Adelaide collection (deceased estate). The specimen were ladled Iron Lace, which I must admit I have never seen before this label. After a quick look and a little thinking I realised its iron containing goethite. Nice interesting specimen and a great name.

The specimen were ladled Iron Lace, which I must admit I have never seen before this label. After a quick look and a little thinking I realised its iron containing goethite. Nice interesting specimen and a great name. I think the strange nature of the specimen is accentuated by the nice color pallet over the piece.
