For sale is an iridescent siderite, from Blackhead quarry, Ballina, NSW. A reasonably thick layer of siderite sits on a spray of radiating calcite of cream calcite (not seen in the pics) . The pics do not totally capture the sweet iridescence on the surface of this piece. The iridescent sheen, moves across the whole display face. This location has now been long rehabilitated.
