For sale is a iridescent goethite from Mt Morgan Qld. This specimen features an excellent range of colors, displayed on all faces. The intensity of the color varies as the piece is moved. Im not sure what ore the color sits on but because of its weight it is probably some metallic ore. This mine closed more than 45 years ago, after producing 260 metric ton of gold!

For sale is a iridescent goethite from Mt Morgan Qld. This specimen features an excellent range of colors, displayed on all faces. The intensity of the color varies as the piece is moved. Im not sure what ore the color sits on but because of its weight it is probably some metallic ore. This mine closed more than 45 years ago, after producing 260 metric ton of gold! Plus much more copper and and about 45 ton of silver. Its very uncommon to see any specimens from this old mine! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
