For sale is a hyalite opal from Erongo, Namibia. This is a supberb example of this rare phenomena, (strong green daylight fluorescence). A rather remarkable hyalite opal with “daylight fluorescent,” meaning that it will fluoresce under regular daylight conditions, no ultraviolet light (long wave or short wave) needed, but it also fluoresces a stunning vivid bright green, under U V light if you have one. This is a rather uncommon specimen from Namibia, where it is know, but not often seen.
