GREEN FELDSPAR – VIETNAM – SOLD
For sale is a green feldspar from Vietnam. A very rare single crystal of translucent to transparent green feldspar. Transparent lead containing orthoclase is extremely rare. To have crystal form is much more so. This was hard to photograph, the top of the specimen is fully terminated, as is the base. This came from a recent find at An Phn commune. I was able to view a small parcel of the material, this was the only specimen that had crystal form. I should observe also, that the crystals is slightly less saturated green in reality.
