An exceptionally fine spinel twin, galena from Dalnergorsk, Russia. The pics do not really do this specimen justice, the luster has to be seen to be believed. Ex Alan Arnold collection, obtained by Alan direct from the mine in one of his many trips to Russia in the 1990s. There are many galena from Dalngorsk but fine spinel twins from there, have become quite rare (they were never common ). This one has both excellent size, condition and aesthetics.
