For sale is a fossil wasp nest from Yellowdine, West Aust. As far as I can ascertain this is a new location for this material. Unlike the vast majority of these “fossils” this one actually is a fossil, with full quartz replacement of the original mud nest. Mostly these are quite crumbly and of a rather young age. Its hard to put into words, but there is just something about these that makes them appealing to both adults and kids.
