A remarkable Elmwood fluorite specimen, due to the unusual lightness and transparency of the crystals (which can often be quite dark with average transparency) . This piece features highly lustrous crystals , to 36mm on edge, with very thin purple colored edges. The crystals have very complex growth patterns on the faces, that surprisingly dont hinder the transparency in the least. One crystal has a ding corner, otherwise excellent

For sale is a fluorite specimen from Elmwood mine, USA. A remarkable Elmwood fluorite specimen, due to the unusual lightness and transparency of the crystals (which can often be quite dark with average transparency) . This piece features highly lustrous crystals , to 36mm on edge, with very thin purple colored edges. The crystals have very complex growth patterns on the faces, that surprisingly dont hinder the transparency in the least. There is one calcite crystal on a couple of pieces of sphalerite associated. These gemmy crystals are actually a bit raised on the corners, above the center of the faces, classic Elmwood. One crystal has a ding corner, otherwise excellent.
