For sale is an epidote from Australia. Featuring thin bladed crystals, that are twinned with an x-shaped cross section. The really unusual thing about this specimen is first the size. Nearly 7cm is large for the location and the species. Then there is the unique color, I have seen a lot of these specimens, but this is the only bi-color one I have ever seen. In reality neither the red nor green are dominant, making a great effect. I presume the red comes from the local area, rock color, but it resist all efforts to clean or remove it, suggesting it could be caused by some other reason. Interesting.
