For sale is an elbaite tourmaline from Brazil. One of the reasons that I love this job is that I get to carefully examine all of the specimens. This one had a few lessons for me, first it has been repaired, which Im sure the previous owners had no idea of. The repair are not significant, and show up under U V light. The second surprise it the significant amount of small colorless tourmalines scattered on mass over the elbaite matrix, quite amazing to view. The odd one is actually bi-colored, clear with green tops. There are two labels that come with this. Ex TG Fine Minerals, and the second label I have no idea who’s it was. The TG label has a price of $550 on this piece. Pretty!
