For sale is a cuprite specimen from Red Dome mine. To quote Rob Lavinsky, “Most Red Dome cuprite consists of intergrown masses, almost rounded in style, and with little in the way of classic crystal shape to them. When backlit, the piece glows with vivid color, the finest in the cuprite world to most opinions” We were fortunate to have obtained a group of cuprite crystals, and groups. These were preserved inside a large block of massive cuprite, and were found when it was broken open. So they are very fresh, having been exposed to light for only about one hour in their life.

Note the majority of the matrix is small silver crystals.
