For sale are glassy, translucent, yellow-to-colorless baryte crystals forming a very sculptural specimen, from Xikuangshan, China, the most productive antimony mine in the world! The fourth pics shows the radiating spray of stibconite crystals sitting behind the the “sawtooth” gem baryte. The distribution of the baryte, at the apex of the specimen with a nice spread of other crystals around the large drusy quartz plate, is very pleaseing to the eye, the last couple of pics show the water clear baryte crystals scattered in the middle of the plate. This is a very busy specimen. The spray at the rear of the baryte crystals, need more examination, there is some stibnite there as well as an unidentified creamy white bladed minerals on the stibnite!! Collected in 2010, this comes from the collection of ex dealer, Chris Benotic. Please remember all our pictures are taken in natural sunlight, no enhancement or back-lighting! A great size rare location specimen, just not available today, and even at the time of discovery these were scarce!! OVERSEAS buyers please contact for postage costs, this is heavy!
