AZURITE PARTIALLY REPLACED BY MALACHITE – MILPILLAS – MEXICO

$390.00

For sale is a supberb azurite from Milpillas, Mexico. A superb example of the find at Milpillas from 2008, showing robust and stout crystal form. Notable is the great size of this single crystal!  This piece is doubly-terminated and pristine. It shows an electric surface shimmer to the rich blue azurite that contrasts with the velvety partial alteration to malachite on the left hand side of the crystal. Actually the malachite replacement is so small that when view from some angles the whole crystal appears to be azurite blue. The specimen is in pristine condition.
