This is one of my favorite rocks, the amethystine, hematite, quartz and jasper, make a fully attractive specimen. It comes from ‘Helen Springs” Pamayu, N.T. and is the result of a very fortunate bit of collecting by a Victorian mineral club member, who just happened to be camped there overnight, who fossicked and found some pieces, of this amazing jasper and quartz, (good work!!). If desired this could be cut and polished into a number of slices. Great color combination. In my opinion this is one rock that deserves some further study! This is the only one of these we have.
