For sale is a rare crystal of tantalite (MN) from Paprok, Afghanistan. As you can see the crystal has exceptional definition and top luster, as is common with tantalite there is a pocket contact at the rear of the specimen. A truly impressive example of tantalite from a location not well know at all for this mineral. There is the odd flash of reddish brown as seen in the pics, coming from this tantalite crystal. This came from a very small find more than 27 years ago that has been repeated. Acquired by Paul Melville from Frank Cheshire in 1994. Please compare our price to other available material.
