Beautiful, gemmy, very glassy, water-clear to translucent smoky quartz crystal with pretty variable smoky color is perched nicely and dramatically in a geode on rhyolite. Matrix specimens are reasonably uncommon from Moralla, most specimen being single crystals with no matrix.

Beautiful, gemmy, very glassy, water-clear to translucent smoky quartz crystal with pretty variable smoky color is perched nicely and dramatically in a geode on rhyolite. Matrix specimens are reasonably uncommon from Moralla, most specimen being single crystals with no matrix. The small quartz crystals in the geode matrix, have a faint amethyst color, a bit of a bonus! Fine specimen, please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
