A fine dark smoky quartz sits on a sweet contrasting, creamy feldspar matrix, from a new discovery at Diamond Hill, NSW. All feldspar crystals at the front of the specimen are fully terminated. The lustrous black quartz crystal rises proudly from the matrix, visually high impact. At the top of the crystal it separates into two perfect terminations, both having clear gemmy tops. There are a couple of very small nicks, but otherwise in pristine condition. This recent find produced a few crystals, but very few of them had the good luster of this piece.
