For sale is a smoky quartz, from Pine Ridge, Copeton Dam, NSW. First I have to say that the pics do not really capture the very fine luster this specimen has. The crystal is in pristine condition, and features a very nice smoky quartz phanton. As you can see from the pics the top of the piece is quite transparent, the rest of the crystal is the same, but it is harder to see because of the smoky color. This is a lesser know production area in the New England gem fields.
