This is a magnificent example of Australian silver crystals, from the famous Elura mine, Cobar, NSW. The spinel law crystal, has a couple of smaller crystal has a couple of regular small crystals attached near the terminations. The elongated center crystals is just outstanding in its sharp definition and crystal form, considering the age of this piece this specimen has very little if and black tarnish, sometimes seen in specimen from this location. Fine display specimen of silver crystals that are not wire like were quite uncommon from the locality, and today literally unknown. The pictures speak for themselves. Ex Harvey Henley collection, ex Paul Melville collection.
