For sale is an excellent, seligmannite with galena and sphalerite from Palomo mine, Peru. Besides being a very pretty, pristine specimen, it features the rare lead copper arsenic sulfide, seligmannite. Seligmannite is known from a number of localities world wide, though as it only forms microcrystals, is rarely seen for sale. Sharp cube-octahedra of galena, are richly sprinkled with small silvery crystals of the rare seligmannite. Having the four minerals together is uncommon for this locality, I have to not that the sphalerite color really gives the specimen a special lift!! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. Ex Paul Melville collection with label.
