For sale is a slice of pink rhodonite, this is extremely good specimen, from Tamworth NSW . This is a large sized specimen, that could be cut for jewellery purposes, very easily, or left as is , a dramatic display piece, with nice contrasting black manganese dendrite lines, contrasting with the soft pink rhodonite. Please note this specimen is a well polished slab, polished by a member of the Newcastle Gem and Mineral club. As time goes on we are seeing fewer and fewer examples of rhodonite cut in slab display form. Probably because the Taggart family from Tamworth, are not mining the deposit these days. The last pic showing an area that is clearish yellow and appears to possible be a different mineral inclusion, could possible be on of the very rare minerals found associated with this rhodonite deposit.
