For sale is an exquisite small specimen of pyromorphite on malachite with minor cerussite, from Rum Jungle, N.T. Collected by and from the collection of the late Norman and Jocine Robinson, mined mid 1970s. This old Australian combo specimen, combines botryoidal green malachite with botryoidal yellow pyromorphite, the pyromorphite is actually quite thick, that give it the fine saturated color, in some areas the individual crystals are easily discernible. There is some cerussite association on the back of the specimen. These are Australian classics! Very pretty. Please NOTE size of specimen. The pics dont show it, but the banded malachite, has great chatoyancy, with the color changing from dark green (almost black) to stunning light green! There is an area of pale green malachite, (a different color again,) on the top of the specimen. Overall Nice. The last pic shows the bottom of the specimen, which has some interesting pyromorphite casts as well as the associated cerussite.
