For sale is a prehnite plate from India.Featuring a large plate of glassy, sparkly light blue prehnite crystals pseudomorphing crystals of elongated laumontite from this famous, how closed quarry near Bombay. Twenty years ago there were a few of these plates seen in the market, virtually none since. Blue colored crystal plates are vanishingly rare! This is a two sided plate, with no matrix, in pristine condition. This was purchased by the renound Indian mineral dealer, John Weir, in the mid 80s to mid 90s.
