For sale is an uncommon pinkish spinel on feldspar matrix. Uncommon because spinel in not rarely found on anything except marble calcite. While this crystal does not have the high lustre of the usual Burma spinels, it is still a striking piece, with unusual color. This specimen is an undamaged, fully terminated floater piece, with the majority of the crystal sitting proud of the matrix. Thou smallish, this is an exquisite piece. Today good Burmese specimens, are increasingly difficult to obtain, and even to get them out of the country is very difficult!
