Colorless, glass clear and sharp, a single Phenakite crystal from the find in 2006. The termination shows the “drill bit” form of twinning with the re-entrant angles having textbook form. This style of Phenakite from Burma are unique and instantly recognizable. This is a bright and clear, gem quality specimen, that we obtained on a recent trip to Burma. I have to comment, that since our trip, the ability to get Burmese specimen out of the country has changed dramatically. It is today near impossible to bring minerals out!
