For sale is a polished specimen of pentlandite with antigorite, from Poseidon Mine, Windarra, W.Aust. This mine is famous for a stock market bubble in the late 1960s, the poor quality ore, soon caused the price of the shares to crash spectacularly! Literally no specimen are ever seen from this mine, but this supberb piece was found and cut by the mines geologist, John Bormer in 1970. Pentlandite is a nickle sulphate mineral, and shows in this specimen as the brassy metallic mineral dominating the specimen.
