Native lead in any form is extremely rare. This is an attractive (as lead can be) specimen of native lead from the Garpenberg North Mine in Sweden. To collectors of native elements, or rare minerals, this native lead on matrix from Garpenberg North mine, Sweden, is pretty special, and could be said to be extremely rare. The native lead covers most of the top of this specimen, with some also on the front and side. Obviously grey on grey is rather hard to photograph, but in the hand the abundant native lead is very visible . The fourth pic show the rear of the specimen and the uncommon matrix, epidoite, but Im not really sure what the pink mineral clearly visible is.!! Same goes with the white mineral seen in the pic of the fouth pic! Please compare our prices, and they are in Australian dollars!!! We were fortunate to obtain some of these hard to obtain specimen in an exchange of specimens with a Swedish collectors, that is the reason our prices are so competitive!!
