For sale is a Burmese classic, mushroom tourmaline from Momeik Township. Please NOTE the SIZE of this specimen! Featuring very rich dark pink-red, pointed mushroom elbaite tourmaline cap, the underside reveals a core of black schorl, and on one side a very nice saturated deep red base. This form is unique to this find in Burma, which happened about 12 years ago, today they are considered quite rare, and hard to obtain. We were fortunate to have obtained this on our last visit to Burma two years ago. A great example of the crystal variety or form of tourmaline, that can be considered rare.
